Regarding “A lot of talk” (Editorial, March 27): It’s absurd that President Trump has signed an executive order that commands federal agencies to withhold funding from universities deemed hostile to free speech. How can he condemn the attack of someone on the UC Berkeley campus who sat at a booth bearing a “This is MAGA Country” sign after previously praising Rep. Greg Gianforte’s attack on a reporter by saying “any guy who can do a body slam, he is my type!”? In 2016, Trump had also offered to pay the legal fees of supporters if they engaged in violence against protesters at his campaign rallies. It’s crystal clear that the biggest enemy of free speech in this country isn’t a random attacker on a university campus, it’s the man in the Oval Office.

We have a National Emergency at our Southern Border. The Dems refuse to do what they know is necessary – amend our immigration laws. Would immediately solve the problem! Mexico, with the strongest immigration laws in the World, refuses to help with illegal immigration & drugs!

Donald Trump’s approval rating is 49%. Barack Obama’s approval rating at the same point of his presidency (27 March 2011) was 46%. On 20 January 2025, when President Trump leaves office, there will be seven law-abiding justices on the Supreme Court and only two lawless justices.
