  • There are many words used to describe America’s current president: Narcissistic, grandiose, egotistical, unhinged, a pathological liar and the list goes on and on. But how about this one? Gullible. He seems to believe without question what everyone else doesn’t buy.

“Hey Vladimir Putin, did you interfere with America’s 2016 presidential elections? No? Oh, OK.”

“Hey Kim Jong Un, knock off the nuclear testing will you? You will? Thanks, buddy.”

“Hey Mohammed bin Salman, you didn’t have Jamal Khashoggi killed did you? No way? Great, let’s sell you some arms then.”

The total acceptance of these flagrant and proven lies uttered by dictators of some of the most repressive regimes on earth is both amazing and confounding, especially considering the things he fully refuses to accept. Global climate change, the needs of political asylum-seekers, any claim by a woman of sexual assault or harassment, that Mexico is not going to pay for the wall, and the long, long list of well researched truths his advisers try to stir into Mr. Trump’s reality. And that “rule of law” thing people keep talking about? Forget about it.

Truth Is truth. And alarmingly, the most painfully obvious truth is that the most dangerous ruthless madmen on earth are laughing and high-fiving each other while playing the American president for a fool.

  • Today's ride gives me 268.9 miles in eight days, which is an average of 33.6 miles per day. The weather has been near-perfect for cycling.
