Scottish cyclist Graeme Obree is a legend. Many years ago, he set the world hour record, but his unconventional bike and riding position ran afoul of regulations. The authorities decided to erase all records that had been set on unconventional bikes. Obree, now 43 years old, has handcrafted a bike that he thinks will comply with the regulations. Here it is. The hour record is 30.88 miles.
